About Me
The Story So Far...
Emmanuel is passionate about the intersection of data science, housing policy, and multimodal transit. He hopes to build transparent and reproducible systems of analysis for local governments so that staff can decrease time in the office and increase time with community members. He believes that the only success you can achieves is the one you are able to track and evaluate, which is why approachable data science methodologies are crucial to his mission.
After transferring from Mt. San Antonio College, he joined the University of California, San Diego, where he received his B.A. in Political Science:International Relations and a minor in Economics. He graduted with his Master's of City Planning Degree (M.C.P.) from UC Berkeley in June of 2021.
Emmanuel loves to travel, backpack, hike, and rock climb. If he isn't outside playing in the sun, you can find him covered in chalk at the Berkeley Ironworks or dancing with his friends at electronic music venues. You might also find him playing Dungeons & Dragons with his close-knit crew of geeks. His downtime is spent relaxing with his wife and dog.
